Connections

Connect NexHello to another system

Set up a webhook, test the connection, and choose when to send a contact.

What a connection does

A connection sends contact information from NexHello to a receiving workflow that you set up in another service. It uses a secure web address called a webhook URL. NexHello does not sign in to your CRM or sync contacts in the background.

Your contacts stay on this phone until you choose Send to your system from a saved contact. That send includes the contact and its saved activity, notes and follow-ups. The receiving service may store or process what it receives.

Set up a connection

  1. Create a workflow in a service that can receive webhooks. The workflow decides what to do with the information, such as add or update a CRM record.
  2. Copy the workflow’s HTTPS webhook URL. If the service requires authentication, have its authentication details ready too.
  3. In NexHello, open Settings → Connect your systems → Set up connection. Enter the URL and any required authentication details, then save and test.
  4. The test sends a test message only. It does not send contact details.

Webhook setup may not be available in every installation. If you cannot see Connect your systems in Settings, open Help & diagnostics in NexHello and ask about integration access.

Send a contact

After saving a contact, open it and tap Send to your system when you want to send it. NexHello sends the contact and its saved activity to the configured workflow. A failed send does not remove or change the contact saved on your phone.

You send one contact at a time. Saving or editing a contact does not send it automatically. Card image files are not included. This is a deliberate send to another system, not automatic two-way or whole-address-book sync.

Use a test contact first. Check what reaches the other service before sending real contact details, and only send information you are authorised to share.

Example: Google Sheets with n8n

Follow the Google Sheets and n8n walkthrough for a free workflow template and illustrated setup steps. The template is a starting point that you configure and test yourself; it is not a ready-made native CRM connection.

Example: Workato table and new-contact email

The Workato contact receiver guide includes a sample recipe ZIP and illustrated setup steps. It checks a matching header password, creates or updates a table row by contact ID, and emails a configured address only on a new insert. Review and adapt the October 2026 sample before using real contact data. You still choose Send to your system for each contact.
