1. Who we are
This policy explains how Naonis Pty Ltd (ABN 87 666 938 496) handles information for the NexHello app, website, waitlist and support.
You can use the core app without creating a Naonis account. The contact and follow-up records you save do not automatically get sent to us.
2. Information kept on your device
The app can keep contacts, business-card details, notes, meeting context, follow-ups, activity history, reminders, your Business Card, settings and backup information on your device.
OCR, contact QR recognition, search, reminders and normal contact management do not require your saved records to be uploaded to Naonis. Card images remain in your Photos or Gallery when the platform saves them there. NexHello keeps a local reference and recognised information where needed for the app to work.
There is no automatic Naonis cloud backup or multi-device synchronisation. Your device and any backup or export you choose to create are your responsibility.
3. Analytics and diagnostics
We collect product analytics about how the app is used to help us understand the user experience and what is most useful within the application. Google Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel receive events such as app sessions, onboarding, screens, capture attempts, follow-ups, reminders, sharing, subscriptions, purchases, restores and whether an action succeeded or failed. Mixpanel also receives a legal-policy acknowledgement event.
The app stores the accepted Privacy Policy and Terms versions with an acceptance time on your device. The matching analytics event includes the policy versions. Analytics events may also include a pseudonymous installation or session identifier, timestamp, app version, platform, device information, locale and a short technical event label. They do not intentionally include the names, email addresses, phone numbers, companies, card text, card images, meeting notes or follow-up text of people in your workspace.
Google Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and technical information. Analytics and diagnostics are not required for normal local use. If a required analytics configuration is unavailable, delivery may be disabled or remain queued.
The production website uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They receive page, browser, device, referral and interaction information. Clarity can measure clicks, scrolling and session replays. When a visit includes UTM campaign tags, the website keeps those tags in temporary browser-tab storage and adds them to the Naonis contact link so campaign attribution can continue across the handoff. Stage and development versions are not intended for public indexing.
4. App stores, waitlist and connected services
Apple or Google handles app-store purchases. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app user identifier and product, transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details from the app stores.
The website waitlist buttons open your email app. If you email us, we receive the address, message and any information you choose to include.
If you configure a webhook, NexHello sends a contact and its saved activity to your chosen destination only when you open that contact and tap “Send to your system”. Nothing is sent automatically. The receiving service may store or process what it receives under its own terms. If you use email, phone, messages, maps, file sharing or another external app, the relevant platform receives the information you send through that action.
5. How information is used and disclosed
We use information we receive to provide support and waitlist updates, manage purchases, operate and improve the app and website, understand usage, investigate problems, comply with law and protect our services.
We use Google Firebase, Mixpanel, RevenueCat, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for the purposes described above. The website is delivered through Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services, which process request and network information needed to deliver and protect it. We may also use providers for email, app distribution and support.
These providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their providers operate. A webhook destination may process information wherever that service operates.
If the NexHello product or relevant business assets are sold, merged, reorganised or transferred, information we hold may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to assume the relevant privacy obligations and give legally required notice.
We do not sell your locally stored contact records or use them to build profiles of the people you meet.
6. Retention, deletion and security
Your app records remain on your device until you edit or delete them, clear the app, restore different data or uninstall the app. Losing the device, clearing its storage or uninstalling the app may permanently lose the only live copy.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and making a usable backup or export before replacing it, clearing it or uninstalling the app. A backup or export is only useful if you keep it somewhere you can recover. Source images may need to be kept separately.
We use reasonable safeguards for the information we handle. No device, service or transmission method is completely secure. Webhook credentials are protected using platform secure storage, but you remain responsible for the security of any destination you configure.
We keep waitlist and support correspondence, analytics and diagnostic information for as long as reasonably needed for support, operations, business records, legal obligations and provider retention settings.
7. Your choices, access and complaints
You can manage your local records, permissions, reminders, backups, exports and webhook sends in the app. The production app may not provide an in-app opt-out for routine product analytics.
To ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or make a privacy complaint, email [email protected]. Please provide enough information for us to find the relevant correspondence. We will handle complaints within a reasonable time.
8. Children
NexHello is a business productivity app, not a service directed to children for collecting their personal information. A child or young person should use the app, store purchase and communication features only with the approval required in their location.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the product, providers, law or information practices change. We will publish the new effective date here.
